The Bachmann Collectors Club limited edition model of Mrs Betty Beets Ivatt 2MT locomotive No. 46441 locomotive in BR maroon livery has sold out. The model (Catalogue No. 32-825K) depicts the locomotive in its current condition on static display at the Ribble Steam Railway, Preston.
The run of 504 models was announced in the winter edition of the Bachmann Collectors Club magazine, which was published on 7th November.
Dennis Lovett, Public Relations Manager said we are grateful to Mrs Beet and her son Chris for allowing us to produce this model, which again has been snapped up by Bachmann Collectors Club members. 5 from the sale of each model is being donated towards the restoration of the locomotive to running order and the cheque will be handed over at a members day on the Ribble Steam Railway next year.
