Bachmann Europe PLC to distribute Mehano products to the UK model trade

Bachmann Europe PLC announced today (22nd February 2006) at Model Rail Scotland that it is to distrubute the Mehano HO range of modern European products to the UK model trade.
Manufactured in Slovenia the range includes the TGV, AVE, THALYS and ICE3 high speed units, modern diesel and electric locomotives. A range of modern freight vehicles will also be distributed.
Graham Hubbard, Managing Director of Bachmann Europe PLC said "the models produced by Mehano will compliment our own Liliput range of European HO models, which tend to concentrate on more historical aspects. As we travel more the demand for the modern high speed trains such as the TGV and ICE3 continues to grow. We are no longer as parochial as we used to be."
Emil Tomisic for Mehano said "We want to expand our sales in the UK and Bachmann Europe PLC has an excellent sales force, distribution team and warehousing facilities already supplying Liliput to UK dealers. We look forward to working with Graham and the Bachmann Europe team."
