Bachmann to produce original Patriot Class locomotive

Bachmann Europe Plc today announced an original Patriot Class locomotive is to be produced as part of the development work being carried out to replace the LMS Class 4-6-0 locomotives which have been part of the Bachmann Branchline range for many years.
Merl Evans, Design Manager for Bachmann Europe Plc said “work is now progressing on the new breed of LMS 4-6-0 locomotives. A number of people have suggested that we should fill the gap and produce an original Patriot, as well as the rebuilt version previously announced. Work is now proceeding on research for what we expect to be a popular model”.
Further details regarding these models will be released at the London Toy Fair in January 2007.
