Due to a small change in policy, Dapol are to release their new 2011 catalogue in…….2011! Yes, we are actually going to start releasing a catalogue for the year it’s in rather than the staggered version we now do.
This means that the modeller will be able to plan ahead, and not be confused by what November Dapol actually mean for the wagon he wants.
The 2011 catalogue will also feature only items that will be out in that year, and feature no new items under development.
New items under development will only be announced to the press, trade and public 1 month before they are due to be in the shops.
This will allow Dapol to produce more items without the possible fear of duplication through our being so open and honest about a specific items progress.
2011 sees an aggressive step up in production of new models and it is already looking very exciting with the ‘magnificent 7’ list being filled admirably, along with a host of new models previously unannounced.
We realise that some of this may be of inconvenience to the modeller or enthusiast, for which we do apologise, but we hope that you will come to approve of our changed policy as new ground breaking models appear.
