First shot of our NEW N gauge MK3 DVT
Our new MK3 DVT is pictured below for the first time as a 'first shot' from the tooling.
It should be noted that there are details to get altered and added between first shot and second before final model production is authorised.
Alterations to this model includes the raised areas around the 2 central doors, and roof radio pod. Also please note that almost all 'first shots' come on brass wheels and are not indicative of the final RP25.72 darkened profile wheel sets.
Specification for this model include, close coupling both ends, DCC ready for light functions (but there is internal room for a sound speaker and chip with little modification), NEM couplers, correctly profiled buffers and rubbing plate for the correct livery, finished cab detail, and separate air pipes. The Steps under the rear door should be factory fitted.
Originally scheduled for release with teh class 67 in December, this model is running currently 2-3 months ahead and may be released in time for the Ngauge show in September.
