We are pleased to inform all our loyal and valued customers that the final decorated model of the 9F locomotive 92220 'Evening Star', has passed its final decoration stage and is now in full production.
As many of you may know, the slight hold up has been with our etched nameplate supplier, who has spent some considerable time getting these right.
During this process it was found that they could, after all, produce in etched brass what we at Dapol thought would have to be printed, and that is the commemorative plaque under the nameplate.
So now our model will have fully factory fitted brass nameplate and etched plaque.
We will also supply the model with the doors loose in the 'extra's' bag for customers to fit along with a spare drive shaft 'just in case'.
As you can see the model is looking really special, and we hope to be able to dispatch the ordered models to both our club members and stockists within the next 8 weeks.
