Dapol OO gauge FEA-B 'spine' wagon first shot is here!
Whilst attending the Anaheim NMRA convention this weekend we recieved the first shot of the FEA-B spine wagon. We hope you feel that the delay has proved worth it as this wagon takes shape.
Here are some shots, but please note there is more work to do on the model before we sign off on it for full production, and as such there is a lot of fine detail missing, plus some alterations that need to be done.
Work to do includes, the correcting of the shape of the buffer shanks, and moulding of the 'slip plate'. Worthy of note are the pipr runs which are all separately applied, although 1 did come off in transit to us and is ommitted for these pictures.
The model was photographed in the local car park with the sun behind the camera using the 'macro' facility and with the wagon placed on a fire hydrant for a steady platform. Please excuse any camera or computer processing distortion.
The wheels fitted to the model are occupation only and not indicative of the RP25.110 darkened sets we will put on production models.
