2011 leads us into uncharted territory with major announcements for both N and OO gauge, a product temporarily withdrawn, and a new ‘aggressive stance’ with regards to production and supply.
However we are temporarily withdrawing from producing the previously announced DP2 locomotive despite the cad/cam almost being completed, due to the announcement of this model by another manufacturer. This will allow us to see the quality and standard of this model before deciding whether to proceed with ours as planned.
Dapol has never before invested so heavily in new products and we are working behind the scenes on even more to be announced later in the year when they are ready for release, and our production facilities in china has been boosted by the addition of a third fully experienced factory to enable us to produce more items and produce them on time.
