N gauge MK 3 DVT first painted sample here

We have been painting our upcoming spare MK3 bodyshells, to get a 'feel' for the finish, and to allow the released model to be as accurate as possible.

The Initial release, will be of 2 in Intercity livery and 2 in Virgin livery.

As you can see from the pictures above and below, there is still some work to be done (even taking into account camera distortion) with colours needing 'fine tuning' handrails needing painting, stripes that need straightening etc.

Please note that we have colour matched the 2  styles of DVT livery exactly with existing coaching stock, so there will be little variation and the DVT's will blend  in visually.

So apart from an altered (from what you see here) paint scheme, what else can our new DVT offer you?

Directional head/tail lighting, correct air horn grill to correct livery, correct pattern buffers and rubbing plate to correct livery, replacement air dam, DCC control over lights, darkened RP25.72 wheel sets, cloe coupling system both ends, NEM coupling pockets, flush glazing, correct pattern bogies, and an accessory pack that includes air hoses, replacement air dam, painted cab detail, and replacement 'knuckle ' style couplers

Please keep checking back onto our website for updates on this livery application for the DVT, and a release date.
