Press statement - Release of 9F Class locomotives

Bachmann Europe PLC has today issued the following press statement in response to information being circulated on two model railway internet sites over the weekend, regarding the release of 9F Class locomotives.
“Some 9F locomotives have been received at Barwell, with further supplies expected towards the end of this week. We took the conscious decision to wait for all three versions to be available, so that they could be distributed together. In the past we have been criticised for releasing them one at a time. With the deliveries so close together it was considered beneficial to our trade customers to distribute them at the same time.
Our trade open days were fixed long before the delivery arrangements for the 9F were known and the timing is purely coincidental. Please note that our trade open days are only open to our trade customers and are strictly by invitation only.
Delivery of all three versions of the 9F will commence next Tuesday”.
